[beki log] a letter to myself

Dear Ate Charo,

Kay tagal ko nang pangarap at lagi nang dasal [For too long, I have longed and prayed for]

Pag-ibig na sadyang wagas. [love that never ends]

Ngunit waring kay ilap ng palad kong ito at ako'y patuloy na bigo. [But it has always slipped away from my hand]

Pilitin mang baguhin ang aking nakaraan, [Though I may want to change my past]

sa'yo lamang nadama ang pag-ibig na tapat [It's with me that I have felt true love]

sabihin man nilang ika'y hindi nararapat [even if they say, it's something I don't deserve]

Narito ako umaawit [Here I am singing]

ng mga kundimang kay tamis [the sweet kundiman]

Napakataaas, lumilipad itong isip

kalayaan ko aking inaawit. [I loose my mind as I sing my freedom]

Sana'y wala nang wakas kapag hapdi ay lumipas [I hope for this to never end, when I stop hurting]

Ang mahalaga ngayon ay pag-asa [What matters is hope]

Dala ng pag-ibig saksi buong daigdig [Cradled by love for the world to see]

Ang lahat ng aking igalaw ang sanhi ay ikaw [My dance is because of you]

Kung may bukas mang tinatanaw dahil may isang ikaw [The future that I look towards is because of you]

*The letter captions the third film output in our residency. the words comes from lines of songs in this playlist:
